Implementation<\/strong><\/p>\n The store owner wanted to involve a local artist in the project, and FunkOn’s team had just the right person for the job: Hyvink\u00e4\u00e4-based graffiti and mural artist Pete Sokura<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The murals were completed over four nights<\/strong>, while the store was closed. Each evening, the work areas were carefully covered and protected, and all coverings were removed before the store reopened in the morning. Most of the paintings were created using water-based spray paints, with extra ventilation running overnight. This allowed the store to remain open to customers throughout the project.<\/p>\n The Final Result<\/strong><\/p>\n Candy City’s candy, snack, and ice cream sections each received their own hand-painted graffiti artwork.
